Bronze for Eve Lavery at Irish Minor Schools Gala

Congratulations to Eve Lavery who took third place in the Girls 11 Year Old 50m Breaststroke event at The National Aquatic Centre, Dublin on Saturday. Eve showed great determination to snatch the bronze medal in the final few strokes. Several other club swimmers including Daniel Chambers, Beth Irwin, Sean McCann, Chloe Black and Laura Duddy also took part but were just outside the medal positions. Daniel Chambers made it to two finals (Backstroke and Butterfly) while Beth Irwin represented her school also in the Butterfly event. A big 'well done' to all of our swimmers who gave 100% on the day and also recorded several 'Personal Bests'
